My partner won't give me a divorce

When a marriage ends, one or both spouses want a divorce. Usually, the spouses are aware of the situation and know how the process will develop. However, there are also cases in which one of the members of the couple DOES NOT WANT TO GET A DIVORCE. The reasons for this can be different: cultural, religious, economic and others that are of great importance to that person. Meanwhile, the other party wants to get a divorce and move on with their life.

This is the moment when a conflict arises that prolongs and complicates the lives of the ex-spouses. This is a topic that is talked about a lot and all kinds of opinions are shared; among other things, a LOT OF WRONG AND CONFUSING INFORMATION is spread.

In our experience, we have seen several cases in which the wife wants a divorce, but her husband tells her that he “will not give her a divorce”.

And not only that, he disappeared, did not take the court notices, did not provide an address and, on the advice of friends, thought that this would help him avoid a divorce.

In these cases, all the deadlines that he had to appear, hire a lawyer, appear before the judge and defend his rights are exhausted.

Finally, the wife got a divorce on the terms she wanted, all because her husband trusted people who were not lawyers.

In another case, the husband wants a divorce, and the wife hides with the intention of avoiding it and taking advantage of the inheritance in the future. The situation was similar: the law favors the husband and he gets a divorce so he can move on with his new life.

As lawyers specializing in this type of situation, we have witnessed this type of conflict many times.

And the good news is that NO ONE CAN FORCE YOU TO STAY IN THE MARRIAGE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO.

The law allows you to file for divorce and

do it without the consent of your partner.

The law protects your rights and you can use it to your advantage.

And if you need a divorce lawyer, we can help you.
